Dear Parents/Guardians,

As the signs of spring abound, as life is re-created in nature, enthusiasm, hope and optimism are restored. After a long and snowy winter, we welcome spring and all the beautiful signs that it brings.

Spiritually, we anticipate the feast of the Ascension of the Lord and of Pentecost. As a community of faith, we know that the Holy Spirit dwells within us, enabling us to do great things. As Catholic Education Week approaches, April 27 – May 2, we encourage you to help us foster the Catholic partnership. The theme for Catholic Education Week is We Are Called.

Our students have been involved in many activities that embraced the spiritual, academic, cultural, artistic and athletic parts of their lives. We thank all parents and guardians for their dedication and support. You are true partners in our collaborative efforts to bring together school, home and parish.

Your child has received his or her mid-term report. We hope that you will discuss your child’s progress with your son or daughter and follow up at the parent-teacher interviews on Thursday, April 24.

If option choice changes for next year are required, it is best to do so as soon as possible. The guidance counselors in Student Services are always happy to discuss these issues with you.

I look forward to seeing you at the Parent-Teacher interviews.

Mrs. S. Cannon
