Vice-Principals Report

Congratulations to staff and students for a good start to Semester Two. Daily attendance and punctuality are essential to academic success. School begins promptly at 8:15 am and students are expected to be in class before announcements. Parental permission is needed prior to students leaving school property. There is dignity in hard work and we expect students to complete homework, respect staff, fellow students, and to follow the school rules as outlined in the Agenda book. Students are to be in full uniform at all times during the school day and to abide by our Board’s electronic device policy. Cell phones and other electronic devices should be turned off and out of sight within the school building. Students are expected to respect our wonderful building by using the waste and recycling containers provided and to refrain from any form of vandalism. Midterm is a time to monitor one’s progress and to maintain implementing the tools for success given to them by their teachers. Cardinal Newman is a Christ - centred community in which all knowledge is illuminated with the light of our faith. Let us infuse these Gospel values into our daily lives.
